During the mixing process, it’s important to continuously stir and apply to the substrate within 30 minutes to prevent water from escaping from the screed. Once applied, the screed will need to cure before the underlay can be laid. The cured screed will achieve its maximum strength after 28 days but can be walked on before this point.
